Our outdoor area is natural and spacious, inviting children to explore and discover while promoting opportunities for shared thinking and collaborative learning. It includes a log cabin, digging patch, sandpit, dry creek bed, hen house and vegetable garden. Children enjoy observing the variety of bird species that are attracted to many of our native trees and shrubs.

Our picnic area provides a space for children and educators to share morning tea and lunch fostering social interactions, language development and problem solving.

Our indoor environment was extended in 2010 and provides an environment where children have the opportunity to make choices and become involved in extended investigations in the following areas:

  • Dramatic play (role playing, imaginative play)
  • Movement (music, dance, yoga)
  • Literacy (stories, writing, computer, reading)
